- [March News 2024](https://morrisybc.com/march-news-2024/): The bar and restaurant will reopen on March 15th. Morris Board Member, Steve Owens, has made an excellent effort to refurbish the area. He told me, “Members will be surprised when they walk in the door and see the first of the renovations.” The entryway floor and hall floor have been sanded and refinished. As members continue to walk around, they’ll notice that the men’s and women’s restrooms have been repainted. The bar woodwork, and the restaurant walls have also been refinished. - [Spring 2025](https://morrisybc.com/spring-2025/): Planning for Spring Spring is officially here and it’s time to start thinking about getting the club and our boats ready for the season.  Inside the clubhouse our house manager, Steve Owens, has made some upgrades in the ballroom.  There’s a new sound system, a new large-screen TV, and a new podium.  All of which will enhance events held there.  Outside, the grounds manager, Kevin Flynn, will be getting the tent up in April.  He’s also taking a close look at the condition of our outdoor tables. Our new travel lift can haul boats up to 50 feet, both power and sail. Most boats are stored for the winter with nearby access to fresh water and electrical power, making those Spring projects easier.
